For the past few weeks a lot of promotion for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has been gearing up. Such as the new full length trailer and posters. Check out the posters in the gallery and watch the trailer after the jump.

The fourth film in the Walt Disney Pictures/Jerry Bruckheimer Films franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides puts Jack on a quest with Angelica (Cruz) to find the Fountain of Youth. On his path, he crosses zombies, seductive mermaids and the fearsome Blackbeard (McShane). Pirates sails into 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 20.

On April 1, 2011 Penélope Cruz was honored on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. She called the unveiling of her pink granite star “a very special day that I will always remember.”

“Every time I look at that star, I will see the names of all the people that have helped me make many of my dreams a reality,” she said at the unveiling attended by a large crowd, including her husband Javier Bardem and friend, Johnny Depp.

Cruz, 36, thanked her parents, siblings, Bardem and their newborn son, “for making me happy every day.”

Walt Disney Pictures has provided ComingSoon.net with an extended version of the Super Bowl spot for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on May 20, the comedy adventure stars Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Sam Claflin and Geoffrey Rush.

Finally after nearly a year – Penelope-Cruz.org has a ‘new’ look. I really didn’t intend on showcasing Nine for so long – especially while it was one of my least favorite Pe films, but I really loved the setup and found it hard to part (plus she was so gorgeous in the movie!) But I was in need desperate of a change so I decided to keep with the set up but freshen (and lighten) things up. The images are taken from her Vanity Fair Spain photoshoot last year. The gallery has also been integrated with this look.

Earlier this week we got our first look at new co-stars Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz filming their first scenes together on the Hawiian set of the upcoming sequel film Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Today we get to see the pair on set again but this time they are rehearsing a scene out of costume aboard their pirate ship. Judging by these photos, it looks like Johnny and Penélope will have no trouble finding the right romantic chemistry to work together on this film:

Penélope Cruz has been getting used to life on the ocean waves by rehearsing with her Pirates Of The Caribbean co-star Johnny Depp onboard ship. Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow, could be seen teaching Penélope some rather steamy dance moves too as she got her sealegs. Penélope, 36, makes her debut in the movie franchise in the fourth instalment: On Stranger Tides, which has just started filming in Hawaii. The Spanish sexbomb – who in real life, married long-term love and fellow actor Javier Bardem earlier this month – plays Angelica, Jack Sparrow’s love interest. She could be seen smooching on the vessel with Depp, who was brandishing a goblet and a bottle of what was presumably rum. At some points, the pair seemed as if they might be about to kiss as they gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes. Depp – in character as Captain Jack, though not in costume – could also be seen raising a toast to his dark beauty. With Depp leading what may well have been a tango, he twirled his partner around the deck, sending Cruz’s long locks flying. But then it seemed as if things got nasty between the pair, with Depp grabbing Cruz in a headlock – while still holding onto his all important bottle of rum. However, they were all smiles with each other once the rehearsal had finished and out of their salty seadog characters.

Cruz is playing a love interest of Captain Jack (Johnny Depp) and the daughter of his nemesis, Blackbeard (Ian McShane), her character is rumored to be named Angelica. Angelica is reportedly a character from Sparrow’s past, but the handsome Jack can’t figure out whether the mystery beauty is back for love or to con him in order to find the Fountain of Youth.
