Penelope Cruz took home a special souvenir after filming new Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona – a pair of the legendary director’s spectacles.
The actress – who stars opposite boyfriend Javier Bardem and Scarlett Johansson in the Golden Globe Award-winning flick – admits she was shocked when Woody awarded her with the memento, because it was so personal.
She tells British movie magazine Total Film, “Actually I got a souvenir. I got his glasses as a present.
“And it’s my treasure. I love those glasses. He only has two pairs and he gave me one pair.”
Penélope Cruz was a vision in a long navy blue gown on Thursday at the 14th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards. Her dress features a feminine sweetheart neckline and ribbon detail at the waist gives it an interesting twist. She tops it all off with a black clutch and simple jewels.
Miss Cruz unfortunately did win not for Vicky Cristina Barcelona in the Supporting Actress category, that went to the lovely Kate Winslet for The Reader instead. Still Penélope was the apitamy of elegance and glamour at the event.
Pe is nominated in the BAFTA longlist twice for leading actress for Elegy and supporting for Vicky Cristina Barcelona. Furthermore Vicky is up for original screenplay, Hall & Johansson for leading actress, Bardem for leading actor.

In all remaining categories, the members of each chapter (or jury) determine the vote.
