After nearly 10 months, we finally have a new look here on Penelope-Cruz.org! While I was proud to showcase Penélope’s historic Oscar win this past year, we definitely needed a change, and what better that to celebrate the upcoming release of Nine! After all, Pe is getting tons of awards buzz again! I am extremely excited for the film and the promotional images our her are to die for. Also be sure to check out the matching but also different theme in the gallery.

Nominees for the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards for outstanding performances in 2009 were announced this morning in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center’s Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood. And Miss Cruz is a double nominee!

The 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be simulcast live nationally on TNT and TBS on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, and 6 p.m. MT from the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center. (Check local listings if viewing via satellite or in HD).

Miss Cruz was truly the definition of vision in red at the New York premiere of Nine last night! She dazzled and every inch was pure perfection! One of my very favorite looks of hers in quite some time! Take note, this is how it’s done people! Her stunning co-stars all opted for shades of black and white and Pe opted for some va-va-voom as you might notice in the photos – not like that’s a bad thing ;)

On Wednesday, Oprah will be airing the encore broadcast special with the Nine cast. She chats with Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard about their new musical. Be sure to tune in if you missed its entirety the first time around!
