In January 2011, Penélope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem welcomed their first son. Reps for the couple said "Both parents and baby are doing great."
Penélope and Javier, 41, married in the Bahamas back in July when she was two months pregnant. The duo has known each other for many years, they starred in 1992's Jamón, jamón together in addition to Vicky Cristina Barcelona in 2008.
Penelope-Cruz.org would like to extend our biggest congratulations to the lovely couple!

"The first movies I did in English, I was struggling more with English. I'd studied French before, so in the beginning, I was learning my dialogue almost phonetically. But all of them come from me. I would never make less of these experiences. All of them mean a lot and taught me."
Just a quick non-related Penélope message today to say that I have launched a new fansite dedicated to the adorable and talented Rachel McAdams with a friend! You may know her from her movies like Mean Girls, The Notebook, Sherlock Holmes or Red Eye among others. Our site features all the latest news and images of her. If you’re a fan stop by and let us know what you think!

Penelope Cruz has it all: pin-up looks, honest-to-god talent and an Oscar as a spectacularly desirable cherry on top. Now she stars in Rob Marshall’s musical Nine, as the mistress to Daniel Day Lewis’ Italian filmmaker. We talked to Cruz in London recently about her latest bespangled role…
After nearly 10 months, we finally have a new look here on Penelope-Cruz.org! While I was proud to showcase Penélope’s historic Oscar win this past year, we definitely needed a change, and what better that to celebrate the upcoming release of Nine! After all, Pe is getting tons of awards buzz again! I am extremely excited for the film and the promotional images our her are to die for. Also be sure to check out the matching but also different theme in the gallery.
The layout is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox, but has been checked in IE and holds up (but still prettiest in Firefox – hee!) but please let me know if you encounter any errors. I really hope you like the new look. Return again later for several updates I’ll be bringing you!

Miss Cruz was truly the definition of vision in red at the New York premiere of Nine last night! She dazzled and every inch was pure perfection! One of my very favorite looks of hers in quite some time! Take note, this is how it’s done people! Her stunning co-stars all opted for shades of black and white and Pe opted for some va-va-voom as you might notice in the photos – not like that’s a bad thing ;)
On Wednesday, Oprah will be airing the encore broadcast special with the Nine cast. She chats with Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard about their new musical. Be sure to tune in if you missed its entirety the first time around!
